| PACOIMA,
CALIF. -- Graphite shafts manufactured by Harrison
Sports fostered a fourth-place finish at the Zurich
Classic of New Orleans, held at English Turn Golf
& Country Club, less than 10 miles from the
historic French Quarter. With all the devastation
from Hurricane Katrina over the last year, Harrison
is glad to see golf returning, at all levels, to
the region. Capturing a share of the top prize money,
Harrison's Pro
2.5 shaft collected nearly one quarter million
dollars in winnings and recorded another third-place
ranking in driving accuracy during the four-day
event.
"The
Pro
2.5 shaft is well-known for giving players increased
distance and greater accuracy, and that particular
model shaft is very often found in the hands of
Top 10 finishers on Tour," says Mike Cheng,
president of Harrison Sports. "The Pro 2.5
is composed of the industry's finest graphite materials
and provides players with constant swing power and
unmatched performance. We're extremely happy with
its winning performance on the PGA and Long Drive
Tours."
The
Pro
2.5 is one of Harrison's most popular shafts
on the Tour and features one of the lowest overall
torques in Harrison's line of high-performance shafts.
The Pro
2.5 has been used to score more than 200 Top
10s on the PGA Tour, seven

World
Long Drive championships wins, and was used by Rory
Sabbatini to win the 2006 Nissan Open. A logical
contrast to the popular stiff tip design, the Pro
2.5's high performance construction fused with
a mid tip stiffness to make it easier to get the
ball air borne is an ideal shaft for golfers who
seek a high degree of accuracy and playability.
It is ideally suited for the 460cc driver that is
so popular today.
The
Harrison Pro
2.5 is composed of boron reinforced X-6200 graphite
and features mid-high flex points and 2.5 degrees
of torque. Harrison Pro
2.5 shafts are available in weight options from
50 grams to 95 grams with flexes ranging from L/A
to S/X.
