| PACOIMA,
Calif. -- After a blustery weekend in Hawaii, Rory
Sabbatini finished in second place at the Sony Open
while playing the Harrison Pro 2.5 and Impulse Hybrid
Utility wood shafts. With an average driving distance
of almost 305 yards, the winning ‘Wildcat'
finished 14-under 280, knocking out the majority
of his competition with a phenomenal 8-under par
in the final round. Not only using his driving length,
Sabbatini used his Impulse Hybrid Utility to help
him to a T2 in Green In Regulation at this weekend's
tournament. Greater distance and accuracy are an
advantage of the Harrison Pro 2.5 and Impulse Hybrid
Utility that players, like Sabbatini, have been
relying on, tournament after tournament.
"We're
elated to announce our first second place finish
for 2006. The Pro 2.5's have long been relied on
by many players for their ability to provide increased
distance with greater accuracy. We are excited for
Rory and are looking forward to a great season for
him and for Harrison," says Mike Cheng, the
President of Harrison Sports.
The
Pro 2.5 series is well known among PGA professionals
for providing superior distance and accuracy upon
which pro golfers depend on. It is seen in the bags
of many players on the TOUR and is found often in
the hands of top 10 winners. The shaft is composed
of the finest graphite materials, which provides
players with a durable, premium product that features
constant swing power and unmatched performance.
The Harrison Pro 2.5 series shafts are composed
of boron reinforced X-6200 graphite and feature
mid- to high flex points and 2.5 degrees of torque.

Harrison
Pro 2.5 shafts are available in weight options from
50 grams to 95 grams with flexes ranging from L/A
to S/X.
The
Impulse
is a particularly unique hybrid design that incorporates
a patent-pending Inlay Titanium Matrix, a thin layer
of titanium wrapped around the shaft's tip section
to increase stability, reduce shaft torque and to
dramatically improve accuracy. Typically, hybrid-design
clubs must withstand greater stress at impact due
to turf contact, so enhanced stability is a critical
design factor for the shaft to resist distortion
upon impact. In addition, Impulse shafts possess
a lower balance point and produce a higher launch
angle to make it easier to get the ball up into
the air. However, the Impulse's special hybrid design
and advanced titanium layer delivers reliable shot
after reliable shot.
Impulse
graphite shafts are available as a Fairway Wood
or Utility Iron. The 75-gram Fairway Wood shaft
has a 44-inch length and 3.5 degrees of torque.
The 42-inch-long Utility Iron shaft weighs 85 grams
and has a torque of 2.5 degrees.
Harrison shafts are among the top five of the most-used
graphite shafts in the world. Technologically superior
and eye-catching in appearance, Harrison has become
a popular and growing choice among professionals,
clubmakers and golf enthusiasts. Harrison shafts
are available from more than 1,500 dealers across
the United States. For a dealer near you, please
